Liofilchem is committed to the fight against the global spread of antimicrobial resistance and collaborates with the main international pharmaceutical organizations for developing diagnostic devices for antimicrobial susceptibility testing such as MTS™ (MIC Test Strip), antibiotic discs, broth microdilution and agar dilution panels, rapid phenotypic tests and chromogenic culture media. Liofilchem also produces dehydrated and ready-to-use culture media, biochemical identification galleries, swabs and transport media, dip-slide and contact slide, biological indicators for sterilization processes, freeze-dried organisms and several other devices for manual, phenotypic microbiology.

🇮🇹 The complete manufacturing processes, QC and R&D are carried out at our headquarters in 4 facilities located in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy, for a total of over 20,000 m2 area. The production environment in Clean Room, A grade classified, is under strict particle and microbiological control, in GMP procedures.
🇺🇸 Liofilchem, Inc. based in Waltham, MA, in the greater Boston area, is the US sales and distribution center. It also comprises an R&D laboratory.
🇩🇰 Liofilchem Nordics ApS is the sales and representation center for Scandinavia, based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Over 200 staff are employed at Liofilchem. Liofilchem is certified ISO 9001 for the quality management and ISO 13485 for manufacturing in vitro diagnostic devices, in compliance with ISO, IVDR and US FDA standards.
